Goal: ask for a small, checkable change while keeping control of the result.
A good task-tracker request is: “Rename the task list to Team tasks. Keep the existing table, fields, and records.” Compare that with “Improve everything,” which leaves too many decisions unstated.
Describe the current behavior, the result you want, and what should be preserved. Use one change at a time while learning.
The builder provides description-based creation and change-assistance controls. Availability depends on the deployed version and the operator's configuration. If a feature reports that it is unavailable, a documentation example does not activate it.
Read the proposed result and validation messages. Inspect the preview and verify that information and permissions were preserved. An agent's explanation is not proof that a change has been saved or published.
Appify's initial MCP bridge is available on authenticated staging. See Connect an external agent for the server address and access steps. With your authorization, an agent can read the selected project, inspect the catalog, preview a proposed change, and apply it with the required version and permissions.
The agent uses its own configured inference access. Documentation search does not give it access to private operational knowledge, and editing authority does not automatically include publishing.
The exact tool names, inputs, effects, and scopes are in the generated MCP reference. Keep those details in the reference rather than memorizing them for ordinary building work.
