Goal: rename one view without changing the information it displays. Start with the example from Create your first app.
Open the project's shared editor. If you are looking at frontend configuration, choose Edit shared pages. Select Build, then choose the view that displays your tasks.
Find View title. Change it to Team tasks, then select Save view title. Wait for the change to finish and check any success or error message.
The view title labels an interface. It is different from the project name, a table name, and the title of an individual task.
Open View. Confirm that the title has changed and that the same sample records are still present. Open another screen and return, or reopen the saved project, to check the result again.
You have changed presentation without replacing your task data. This separation is one of Appify's central ideas.
Open Appearance and inspect the available theme controls. If you choose a different look, use that panel's apply/save controls and check the preview. Changing the look does not add business behavior.
Keep the first exercise small. Adding fields, changing permissions, and publishing each deserve their own checks.
